The Central Bank increased the limit of the traditional swap auctions from 40 percent to 50 percent in the Turkish Lira Currency Swap Market.
According to the information obtained from banking sources by the AA correspondent, the CBRT increased the limit of the traditional swap auctions in the Turkish Lira Currency Swap Market with the order it sent to banks.
With the new regulation, the quotation swap limits of banks in the Turkish Lira Currency Swap auctions (Traditional Method) were raised to 50 percent of the foreign exchange market transaction limits.
Thus, the flexibility of banks in Turkish lira and foreign exchange liquidity management will be further increased. The regulation will be applied from 27 May.
