Banks Association of Turkey (TBB) board out of the street constraint brought about the decision regarding the announcement of bank branches in the provinces and actions, were published on the official website of the union.
In the announcement, it was stated that the bank branches will be closed on Monday, May 18 in 15 provinces specified in the decision of the Ministry of Interior on the curfew.
“Customers residing in these 15 provinces within the scope of the restriction will be able to carry out their banking transactions using non-branch channels. Customers, whose last day of execution is 18 May, were advised to postpone their actions to 20 May. It has been requested that the notifications to the TBB Risk Center regarding the acts dated in accordance with the Force Majeure Practice of the Risk Center Circular.
According to the decision of the Ministry of Interior, 15 provinces with curfews are as follows:
“Ankara, Balikesir, Bursa, Eskisehir, Gaziantep, Istanbul, Izmir, Kayseri, Kocaeli, Konya, Manisa, Sakarya, Samsun, Van and Zonguldak.”
